The Hedge Team joins Premier Sotheby’s International Realty as one of the most successful real estate teams in Sarasota, with a multimillion-dollar growth record that mirrors the rising new wave of development in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
The Hedge Team offers the experience of husband and wife, Charlotte and Tom Hedge, their son, Tom Jr., and Monica Barth. These Team members excel in all facets of real estate from waterfront condominiums and homes on the islands, to lavish country club estates on the mainland, along with homes in the revitalized Sarasota downtown market.
Charlotte, originally from Portland, Maine, and South Jersey, and a former teacher has worked in the real estate industry for more than 30 years. Charlotte was awarded New Jersey’s Realtor® Associate of the Year for the state. Currently, she holds the following designations: Certified Residential Specialist, Certified International Property Specialist (held by less than one percent of all Realtors®), as well as the Women’s Council leadership training graduate and the Transnational Relocation Certificate. Charlotte is a licensed Broker Associate.
Armed with a construction and environmental engineering background, Tom Sr. possesses an understanding of condominiums and commercial properties found throughout Sarasota. Prior to his 30 year real estate career, Tom owned an HVAC company in New Jersey before their son, Jeff took over the company. Tom is a licensed contractor and holds the Condominium Association Management license and recently completed the new NAR Green Certification. Tom and Charlotte are from military families whose fathers served in the United States Armed Forces for more than 30 years. They both have lived in many states in the US and in countries around the world. Before coming to Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, Tom Jr. worked for many years alongside his parents at Michael Saunders and Company. An Air Force veteran with a degree in business, Tom rounds out the Team with an outstanding technology background. Tom holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designations, REO Specialist and the ePro designation. He is also a licensed Broker Associate. Tom and his wife, Aran, live in Sarasota with their sons, Preston and Alexander.
Monica’s real estate career began with her mentor, Charlotte. She became a licensed Broker Associate in 1999 and joined The Hedge Team shortly after her mentorship. Prior to entering the real estate profession, Monica studied in Germany and Switzerland for hospitality management through a Cornell University program. She speaks French, German, Italian, Swiss German and has an understanding of Spanish. This equips her with an understanding of the needs and desires of European and South American clients who continually fall in love with Sarasota. Monica ensures the Team’s clients receive the care The Hedge Team is noted for. She also holds the TRC designation and is currently working toward her CIPS designation. She and her husband live in Sarasota with their children, Dylan and AnaBella.
Robyn Sadlo is a proud member of The Hedge Team with the Downtown Sarasota office of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. After a successful and fulfilling career helping children find their potential as a speech-language pathologist serving the most challenged youth in Sarasota, Robyn is prepared to help her customers achieve their real estate dreams.
The Hedge Team’s love for the Sarasota community is demonstrated through their commitment to the Sarasota County Boys & Girls Clubs. Both past presidents, Tom and Charlotte were Board Members of the Year and serve on the Board of Directors. Tom Jr. and Monica volunteer their time to this organization as well. Monica is also involved with the Junior League of Sarasota and Make A Wish Foundation. The Hedge Team supports other organizations such as SPARCC, Arts Council, Ringling Museum, Selby Gardens, Sarasota Ballet, Mote Marine, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation
Army and are Ambassadors for Good Will Sarasota/Manatee.
